The answers to common questions we get are listed below. If your question is not answered here, or you have some feedback about our apps, please send us an email.

support-generalGeneral:

Can I try your software before buying it?

All our apps are "shareware", which means you can try them out before purchasing to see if they meet your needs. Before purchasing our apps are limited in some way. For example, Picturesque puts a watermark on a saved image.

support-serialsSerial Numbers:

I've purchased one of your apps, but I still have not received my serial number.

You should receive your serial number within a minute of purchasing. Always check your spam folder.

If you have still not received the email after an hour, you can get your code resent to you using our serial lookup, or send us an email and we'll get your code to you manually.

If we don't reply within 24 hours, try emailing us from a different address.

I've lost my serial number. Help!

No problem, try to find it using your email address in the serial lookup here. If that doesn't work, please email us and we'll sort it out.

support-purchasingPurchasing:

I don't like PayPal. Do you have any alternate payment options?

Sure do, we also accept credit card payments through FastSpring. There is a link on the right side of the purchase page

Do you charge for upgrades?

Minor updates (eg. 1.0 to 1.1) are free. Major updates (eg. from 1.0 to 2.0) require an upgrade license. An upgrade license is always significantly cheaper than buying a new license.

If you purchased an app within a month of the major release, you will receive a free upgrade code by email.

Will I get a DVD shipped to me?

No, our products are distributed online. You download the entire program, then get a serial code via email to remove all restrictions. Considering our apps are all less than 10mb, this makes a lot more sense.

support-picturesquePicturesque:

Does Picturesque have watermarking?

Not at the moment, but it's a great feature request, thanks.

I'm still on 10.4 Tiger, will Picturesque 2 work for me?

No Picturesque requires at least 10.5 Leopard. However, you can still download the older Picturesque 1 from here.

You can purchase a license for Picturesque 2, which will also work great with Picturesque 1.

Does Picturesque support embedded color profiles?

Not at the moment, no. We're working on it.

My image's edges are a little bit jagged in the perspective effect. Can you do something about this?

Yep, we're working on improving Picturesque's anti-aliasing .

Picturesque isn't saving my image on Snow Leopard

You're probably using an older version of Picturesque that isn't compatible with Snow Leopard. Any version after 2.1.6 is compatible. There was a bit of a problem with the self updater in 2.1.4, so if you have that version, so you need to update manually by redownloading Picturesque from here.
